Goose performed its annual Goosemas show in Providence the night a mass shooting occurred two miles away at Brown University, leaving two dead and nine injured. The band launched a merchandise fundraiser and a weekend-long online auction, with all proceeds directed to the Brown community and victims. The Goose & Western Sun Foundation Auction raised roughly $16,000 in less than 24 hours. Auction items include signed Goosemas setlists and distinctive stage posters. Proceeds will support the Brown University Student Emergency Fund, which covers urgent needs like housing, food, travel, and other essential expenses for impacted students. Bidding runs through 6 p.m. Sunday.
