The fight will be professionally sanctioned under the Unified Rules of MMA, scheduled for five five-minute rounds, contested with 4-ounce gloves inside a hexagon cage. Rousey was the UFC's first female fighter, first women's bantamweight champion and first woman inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame; her last professional fight was in 2016. Carano's final professional fight was in 2009 after starting in Muay Thai (12-1-1); she won her first seven MMA fights before losing to Cris Cyborg in Strikeforce's first women's championship bout. Tickets go on sale March 5.
