He is upbeat despite being in a splint and says doctors advised resting for five or six months. He plans to return sooner, aiming to fight again in four or five months. He wants a step up in competition and spoke with UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard about potential opponents, including Marvin Vettori, Roman Dolidze, and Bo Nickal. Maynard indicated Nickal and Vettori have upcoming fights and Dolidze is moving up in weight. Susurkaev also expressed interest in the UFC’s trip to Madison Square Garden.
