Earth Month Cleanup at the National AIDS Memorial Grove - San Francisco Bay Times
"The gathering within the grove at Golden Gate Park took place on April 18, 2026, just days before Earth Day on April 22 and during Earth Month."
"It was a powerful sight to see the many participants form a circle, concentrating their energy and thinking of those lost to HIV/AIDS who are memorialized at the beautiful, verdant grove."
On April 18, 2026, volunteers, including Joanie Juster, participated in a Community Volunteer Workday at the National AIDS Memorial Grove. This event aimed to honor and preserve the grove, a significant site for hope and remembrance for those lost to HIV/AIDS. Participants formed a circle to concentrate their energy on the memories of those memorialized there. The next volunteer day is scheduled for May 16, 2026, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
