Puma names new senior global brand marketer following reorganization
"Her appointment comes at an important time for Puma as we bring product creation and storytelling even closer together. Nadia's leadership will help us deliver sharper product narratives, stronger brand heat and deeper consumer connections globally."
"It's a very big moment for us at Puma because this brand DNA work we have done in the last year is super important for us to shape the future."
Nadia Kokni officially started as Puma vice president of global brand marketing on Jan. 1. She will lead brand strategy, creative direction, integrated marketing and communications and report to Maria Valdes. Puma consolidated brand marketing, product, innovation and go-to-market under a single global organization in October led by Valdes. Richard Teyssier, a Puma veteran of more than 14 years, is leaving to pursue other opportunities. Kokni previously served as senior vice president of global marketing and communications at Hugo Boss and has held roles at Adidas, JD Sports, Tommy Hilfiger and H&M. Puma recently launched its largest global "Go Wild" campaign as part of a reset phase aimed at becoming a top-three global sports brand.
