This Blue Jays player could make history with his Gold Glove nominations

He led the majors in defensive runs saved (DRS) with 22 (tied with Steven Kwan of the Cleveland Guardians). He was twelfth in outs above average (OAA) at +14 and 15th in runs prevented with ten. As a third baseman he had +6 OAA and +11 DRS. Finalists at third include Maikel Garcia and José Ramírez; Garcia led third basemen in DRS (13) and posted +17 OAA. Utility finalists include Mauricio Dubon and Daniel Schneeman. Clement was drafted in 2017, debuted in 2021, and joined the Blue Jays in 2023 after brief stints with other teams.
