Superman spotted flying over London as new film set to premiere
Briefly

A hyper-realistic Superman sculpture, 11 feet tall and weighing over 120kg, is installed at the top of London's Shard. This unique installation marks the first time a cinematic character has been featured on the iconic building. Created over four months by more than 20 people, the sculpture used a 3D scan of new Superman actor David Corenswet, crafted from ECO resin and steel cables. It is designed to be visible from up to 40 miles away and aligns with the launch of the new Superman movie.
Those in the capital who took a look up the Shard will have spotted a hyper-realistic version of the unmistakable superhero, more than 300 metres above ground at the top of the iconic landmark.
The enormous Superman will be visible, weather conditions permitting, from up to 40 miles away, tethered to the tallest building in Western Europe.
To see such a realistic depiction of our Superman displayed on the top of The Shard is mind-blowing.
Superman has stood as a symbol of hope and heroism for generations so it feels only fitting that he now watches over London from the top of one of its most iconic landmarks.
