Dimitri Payet, former France and West Ham midfielder, has announced his retirement at 38. He joined West Ham in 2015 and returned to Marseille in 2017. Payet scored 15 goals in 60 games for West Ham and earned 38 caps for France, reaching the Euro 2016 final. He expressed gratitude for his 20-year career during a half-time interview. Payet played for several clubs, including Nantes, St-Etienne, Lille, and Vasco da Gama, which was his last team before retirement.
