"The Austrian revealed in January that he will depart Selhurst Park when his contract expires this summer despite leading them to the FA Cup last year the club's first major trophy. He is also expected to be on the shortlist of several clubs after sealing a fourth cup final appearance in his past four seasons, although Glasner is not thought to have made a decision over this future yet."
Crystal Palace are increasing efforts to sign Andoni Iraola as the next manager after Oliver Glasner’s planned departure. Palace have identified Iraola as their preferred choice and held initial talks with his camp. Iraola confirmed he will leave Bournemouth at the end of the season, and Palace believe a three-year, lucrative deal plus the prospect of European football could attract him despite interest from other Premier League clubs such as Chelsea. Glasner’s team faces Rayo Vallecano in a final on 27 May in Leipzig, with the winner qualifying directly for the Europa League. Palace expect further talks and are also considering other candidates including Frank Lampard, Kieran McKenna, Thomas Frank, and Marcelino Garcia Toral.
