Bill Maher criticized pro-Palestine protesters for aligning with what he called the most oppressive people on earth and described their sense of good and evil as warped. He accused protesters of being ignorant or of ignoring poor treatment of women and minorities in Muslim-majority countries. He challenged Ana Kasparian to name a Muslim country she would prefer over Israel and said surrounding Middle East countries have been stunted by Islam. He called Cenk Uygur and similar figures stooges after Uygur labeled him a racist. He emphasized that Islam is an ideology, not a race, and criticized enforced veiling.
