"should have listened to my emails instead of ignoring me ... don't worry, this is harmless. just to get ur attention :)"
"I didn't hide myself on purpose because I just literally wanted to talk to them about this,"

"sophisticated cyberattacker"
Matthew Lane, who used the monikers g0retrance and netsaosa, defaced the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association website in November 2021 with a message reading "PWNED" and an accompanying note claiming he wanted attention and that the act was harmless. He told reporters he sought to contact and help the organization after being ignored. DataBreaches tracked his forum activity over subsequent years. On June 6, Lane pleaded guilty to cyber extortion conspiracy, cyber extortion, unauthorized access to protected computers, and aggravated identity theft. The government seeks 84 months imprisonment, 36 months supervised release, more than $14 million restitution (mostly for PowerSchool), and forfeiture; the sentence falls within federal guidelines.
