""We have received communications from the threat actor and will not be engaging with them," a spokesperson told ITPro."

""isolated incident""
Harrods confirmed that a third-party provider was breached, resulting in the theft of 430,000 customer records. Harrods confirmed contact from the threat actor and refused to engage with them. Stolen information is limited to basic personal identifiers such as names and contact details and may include marketing and e-commerce labels; account passwords and payment details were not affected. Harrods stated the incident was contained and that all relevant authorities, including the Information Commissioner's Office, have been notified. Harrods has not named the third-party provider. This follows an unrelated attempted cyber attack on Harrods in May.
