Envoy caught in Clop's Oracle EBS raid
"We are aware of the incident involving Envoy's Oracle E-Business Suite application,"
"We have conducted a thorough review of the data at issue and have confirmed no sensitive or customer data was affected. A limited amount of business information and commercial contact details may have been compromised."
"The company doesn't care about its customers, it ignored their security!!!"
Envoy Air confirmed compromise of its Oracle E-Business Suite environment and launched an immediate investigation while notifying law enforcement. The review found no sensitive or customer data affected, though a limited amount of business information and commercial contact details may have been accessed. The incident did not touch American Airlines IT environments or disrupt Envoy flight or ground handling operations. Clop extortionists claimed American Airlines and other organizations as victims and posted accusations about customer security. Google threat analysts estimate dozens of organizations were affected and say intruders may have had a multi-month advantage; Clop previously targeted MOVEit in 2023.
