Conor Brian Fitzpatrick operated the BreachForums under the alias Pompompurin and served as its founder and administrator. He launched the forum after an FBI sting operation dismantled RaidForums in 2022, filling a void for a notorious cybercrime marketplace. Authorities arrested him, and in March 2023 he identified himself as Pompompurin and admitted to running the forum following his arrest. In July 2023 he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit access device fraud, access device solicitation, and possession of child sexual abuse material. An earlier sentence was overturned in January, and the court resentenced him to three years in prison.
