BE 25.1 adds support for Windows Server 2025 and enhanced Microsoft 365 protection including Teams private channel security, Exchange item restores to PST, and Microsoft Entra ID backup and restore. MS365 full consolidation backup performance is improved and SharePoint Subscription Edition supports backup with granular recovery technology restores. A restore administrator role was added and the built-in malware scanner now supports Symantec Protection Engine and Windows Defender. Deployment is fast with a customizable widget dashboard and self-protect backups.
