With illness lingering, Steph Curry to miss Nuggets game
"The Warriors will finish a two-game road trip with a matchup at Denver on Friday, and will have to do so without their franchise player. Curry was noticeably coughing and sniffling during the last home game against Phoenix, and he told reporters that he had been fighting sickness for the previous midwestern road trip to Milwaukee and Indiana. He did not travel with the team to Sacramento, and Curry was ruled out with with an illness on the NBAs official injury report."
"Curry is averaging 26.8 points per game in eight starts, but his numbers took a noticeable dip in each of the last two games he played. Curry shot under 40% in each of those games, after not dipping under that threshold in any of the previous six games. Missing Curry, Jimmy Butler (back) and Draymond Green (ribcage), the Warriors lost a nail biter to a Sacramento team also lacking starts Zach LaVine and Domantas Sabonis."

Curry is averaging 26.8 points in eight starts but experienced shooting declines in his last two games, dropping below 40% in each.
