"Nintendo has given into the pressures of the current market and followed Microsoft and Sony's example by officially raising the price of the Switch 2. "We sincerely apologize for the impact these price revisions may have on our customers and other stakeholders, and we deeply appreciate your understanding," said Nintendo in the announcement."
"In the US, Switch 2 prices for rise from $449.99 to $499.99, a roughly 10% jump. In Europe, it will go from €469.99 to €499.99, or roughly 6.38%. No UK specific prices were confirmed as of yet. In Japan, both the Switch and Switch 2 will see price jumps as well."
