The ROG Xbox Ally emphasizes the Xbox full-screen-experience UI and allows access to games from other PC storefronts such as Steam. Bringing that interface and functionality to a dedicated console would represent a different approach from competitors. The full-screen experience software requires more polish; one review called the operating system "undoubtedly frustrating." Xbox must rebuild consumer goodwill after Series X|S price hikes and Game Pass concerns.
