Nintendo confirmed 10.36 million Nintendo Switch 2 units sold as of September 30 and 20.62 million Switch 2 software units sold. Mario Kart World has sold 9.57 million units including bundles, and Donkey Kong Bananza has sold 3.49 million units. Video game platform sales rose 119.7% year-on-year to JPY 1,066.1 billion following the Switch 2 launch. Nintendo raised FY2026 net sales guidance from JPY 1,900 billion to JPY 2,250 billion, increased Switch 2 hardware forecast to 19 million units and software forecast to 48 million units, while lowering original Switch hardware forecast to four million units and raising Switch 1 software forecast to 125 million units.
