The Wicker Park opening featured a limited-time Jeppson's Malört ice cream that sold out in under 48 hours, leading to the flavor's return for the new grand opening. Malört is a wormwood-based digestif known locally as "the taste you love to hate" and has been seen as a rite of passage or a hangover cure. The Willis Tower shop will offer more than 30 flavors, free tote bags for the first 100 customers, and $1 scoops from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The brand is known for creative seasonal collaborations with mainstream brands and celebrities.
