"You may not be nominated for a Golden Globe award, but that doesn't mean you can't eat like a star. Celebrity hot spot restaurant Nobu has partnered with the Golden Globes, which air on CBS on Jan. 11, to create in-house and to-go meals inspired by the star-studded show. Through Jan.11, diners who come to Nobu's Malibu and Los Angeles locations, as well as Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's original restaurant Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills, can order the Golden Yuzu Lobster."
"The dish cost $83 in honor of the 83rd Golden Globe Awards and features lobster served with asparagus and shiitake mushrooms with yuzu and sprinkled with gold flakes. "it's very umami. It's a whole Maine lobster beautifully done. It's kind of a twist on one of our signature dishes that Nobu created over 30 years ago," said Mayena Mustafa, events manager for Nobu."
Nobu partnered with the Golden Globes to offer limited-time in-house and to-go menus at Nobu Malibu, Nobu Los Angeles, and Matsuhisa Beverly Hills through Jan. 11. The Golden Yuzu Lobster, priced at $83 for the 83rd awards, pairs lobster with asparagus, shiitake mushrooms, yuzu and edible gold flakes. A celebrity to-go dinner available Jan. 9–11 is priced at $125 and includes Yellowtail Jalapeño, caviar cup, lobster salad with spicy lemon dressing, Tai Matsuhisa nigiri, salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri and miso Black Cod.
