Raising Cane's is opening a new Crown Heights restaurant at 506 Utica Ave., beginning celebrations around 8 a.m. The location marks the chain's 13th New York City store and a second Brooklyn drive-thru following a Flatbush opening. The restaurant will operate seven days a week until 2 a.m. A ribbon-cutting around 9 a.m. will include the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Brooklyn Children's Museum and the NYPD's 71st Precinct, with check donations to the museum. Promotions include a "Lucky 20" raffle for a year of free Cane's, the first 100 customers receiving hats and Box Combo cards, live DJ music, and daytime performances.
