Pace approved its 2026 Operating Budget, Two-Year Financial Plan, and Five-Year Capital Program supported by $18.9 million from Illinois Senate Bill 2111. The plan holds fares steady with the standard cash fare at $2.25 ($2 with Ventra) and funds the Regional Accessibility Program and Taxi Access Program through 2026. Service levels will increase by nearly 10% in suburban bus service and expand On Demand offerings across six counties to improve first-mile/last-mile connections.
