Marilee Jennings joined Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose in 1987 and served as executive director since 2008, announcing Dec. 22 that she is retiring to spend more time with family. She helped shape the museum into a nationally recognized leader in early education, family engagement and community partnership and developed programming that expanded the museum's reach across the Bay Area.
