Located between river and sea on Bahia's southern coast, Modular Bahia creates a contemporary tropical retreat responsive to local territory and climate. Developed by UNA barbara e valentim, the design integrates industrialized solutions with bioclimatic strategies to respond precisely to environmental conditions and to the desire for a landscape-integrated occupation. Interiors were led by Cristina Rogozinski + UNA, structure by CROSSLAM Brasil using engineered timber, and construction by Abaete Construtora. Collaborators include Breno Sá, Icaro Cordaro, Igor Helian, Luis Cunha, Rodrigo Carvalho, Tamar Firer, and Victoria Liz Cohen. The project prioritizes modularity, prefabrication, and sensitive siting to minimize environmental impact.
