Iwana Coffee Gives Las Vegas Fresh Roasts of Colombian Gems
""The color purple plays a central role in the space, symbolizing creativity, transformation, and a sense of elevated consciousness, values that align closely with our approach to specialty coffee and storytelling.""
""[Pretty Done] was selected not only to support local art, but also because it resonates with the expressive, contemporary identity of Iwana and the Arts District itself.""
""Every element within Iwana - down to the tools we use daily - is a representation of art, intention and craftsmanship.""
Iwana Coffee opened in mid-2024 in the Las Vegas Arts District and added an in-house Diedrich DR-3 roaster last fall. The shop develops and executes roast profiles in collaboration with a Colombia-based master roaster, transitioning from previously shipping coffees by air. The 2,100-square-foot cafe features mostly white walls with bold purple accents and a wall reading "Fudge Your Bad Vibes." Purple symbolizes creativity, transformation, and elevated consciousness. Works by Pretty Done, natural wood accents, and plants create a tropical vibe. Equipment includes a custom-painted Fiorenzato F83 E Pro grinder, a 2-group Sanremo Racer espresso machine, and Origami drippers for pourovers. The owners tied the cafe to their family's 80-hectare farm, Finca La Esmeralda.
