Daniel Coleman, known for children’s entertainment, announced that his 14-year-old son Isaac died on May 21 after a months-long battle with cancer. Coleman shared a message expressing grief and pride, describing Isaac as deeply loved and full of life. He wrote that being Isaac’s father was an honor and asked for peaceful rest. Isaac’s cancer diagnosis was announced in December 2025 after doctors found cancer in his mouth. Isaac had Fanconi anemia, a genetic condition that can cause physical differences, blood disorders, bone marrow failure, and increased risk of cancerous tumors. Coleman previously said the family expected cancer due to the condition and later reported surgery in January 2026 to remove the cancer.
"“Oh my sweet boy. There's so much I want to say, but I don't know how yet. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process. But looking through thousands of pictures and videos this past week, I'm also filled with tremendous pride,” he captioned the post."
"“Being your dad was the honor of a lifetime. I'm so proud of you and I love you forever. Rest peacefully, son,” he wrote."
"“It may cause physical differences and blood disorders that lead to bone marrow failure. It also increases your risk of cancerous tumors. People with this condition need long-term medical care to manage symptoms and watch for new ones,” the clinic's website reads."
"“But it's definitely hitting a little earlier than we hoped and is still just such a shocking thing to hear about your child, even if you've braced for it for years,” he wrote."
