San Jose Police Move on Gang Members, Arrest Five Men, Four Juveniles
"On Nov. 19, detectives located and arrested Haro and the two 16-year-olds at Haro's residence, where they found a loaded firearm, large quantities of narcotics and two homemade improvised explosive devices. The department's bomb squad quickly responded and took custody of the explosive devices, police said. During the execution of the search warrant at one of the juvenile suspect's residence, detectives contacted an additional suspect, Alejandro Villa, 27, of San Jose, who was in possession of illegal narcotics for sale."

The San José Police Department Gang Investigations Unit arrested five men and four juveniles linked to gang-motivated vandalism and firearm-related crimes occurring September through November. Detectives obtained warrants for seven primary suspects: Luis Haro (20), Elijah Santos (18), Angel Gonzalez (18), a 17-year-old, two 16-year-olds and a 14-year-old. On Nov. 19, Haro and two 16-year-olds were arrested at Haro's residence, where a loaded firearm, large quantities of narcotics and two homemade improvised explosive devices were found; the bomb squad secured the devices. Alejandro Villa, 27, was contacted during a juvenile search and booked for narcotics and an outstanding warrant. On Dec. 3, Santos, Gonzalez, a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old were arrested; detectives recovered a stolen firearm at each juvenile residence. Humberto Aquino, 33, was contacted during a search of Gonzalez and booked for parole and an outstanding warrant. Arrests resulted in bookings to Santa Clara County Main Jail and Juvenile Hall for vandalism, firearm and narcotics-related charges.
