
"Marin County sheriff's detectives arrested a Richmond man for allegedly stealing bicycles in Santa Venetia. The alleged crime occurred on Oct. 16, when a resident reported that three bicycles were stolen from his porch while he slept, sheriff's Lt. Brennan Collins said. The bicycles were locked and had a total value of $8,000. A surveillance camera recorded the theft, Collins said."
"Based on the video footage, detectives identified a suspect and tracked him to a residence in Richmond. The suspect also had a warrant for his arrest that was based on an alleged bicycle theft in Fairfax, Collins said. Efrany Dionicio Diaz-Diaz, 28, was booked into the Marin County Jail on Tuesday on suspicion of grand theft. His bail amount was set at $10,000."

Investigators noted an existing warrant related to an alleged bicycle theft in Fairfax. Diaz-Diaz was booked into the Marin County Jail with bail set at $10,000.
