Eos Hospitality, the new owner of Williamsburg's William Vale hotel, has filed a lawsuit against former co-owner Zelig Weiss. The lawsuit seeks to evict Weiss from a luxury suite where he has allegedly been staying without payment since last year. Weiss had opposed the sale of the hotel, which was sold at a foreclosure auction after another co-owner declared bankruptcy. Eos is also requesting that Weiss be compelled to pay for his occupancy, which could total over $200,000 at current rates, as he has ignored their eviction notice.
Eos Hospitality filed a lawsuit against former co-owner Zelig Weiss to evict him from a luxury suite at the William Vale hotel for unpaid occupancy.
Weiss has allegedly been staying in the suite since 2016 without payment and was ordered to vacate by September 2024 after his eviction.
The hotel was sold at a foreclosure auction to Eos after Weiss failed to negotiate with creditors following the bankruptcy of a former co-owner.
Eos is seeking to compel Weiss to pay over $200,000 for the occupancy since taking ownership of the hotel.
