Library of Us is a 50-foot-wide triangular rotating bookshelf set within a reflecting pool at Faena Art, stocked with 2,500 books that influenced Es Devlin's work, thinking and life. The installation features a 70ft-long communal reading table with inner stools that rotate with the bookshelf and outer stools that remain stationary to encourage chance encounters. Daily selections from the artist's personal, annotated collection will be displayed, and a 30ft scrolling LED will show passages from 250 books with audio of Devlin reading. The installation runs 2–7 December, 1pm–9pm, and the books will be donated to South Florida institutions afterward.
