Vittoria Fastest Road Bike Tires get Wider 30mm Option for Corsa PRO Speed
"The new Vittoria Corsa PRO Speed 700x30c (30-622) adds a wider size to their "fastest road bike tire". And yes, it's because their World Tour teams were asking for it. As such, it's a high-performance tire designed for racing, and Vittoria's sponsored riders are already riding it, and you can, too, starting today. Available February 17th, MSRP is $125.99 per tire. Which is a lot, but it's a pretty special tire..."
"The Corsa PRO Speed comes only in a tubeless-ready construction with an ultra-supple Corespun 320 TPI cotton casing. The tread seamlessly tapers into the sidewall for a smoother, more aero appearance, and it's all electrically cured to minimize rolling resistance. There's a bead shield to protect against pitch flats, but there's no puncture protection layer under the tread. If you don't need the protection, this is one of the best road tires we've ever ridden, and now it's wider."
Vittoria expanded the Corsa PRO Speed line with a 700x30c (30-622) tubeless-ready road racing tire available February 17 for $125.99. The tire uses an ultra-supple Corespun 320 TPI cotton casing and an electrically cured tread that tapers into the sidewall to reduce rolling resistance. The compound blends Graphene and Silica for speed and wet grip, with small side grooves for cornering and a smooth center for low rolling resistance. A bead shield guards against pitch flats but there is no dedicated under-tread puncture belt. Sizes now include 24, 26, 28, 30mm plus a 29WR wide-rim 255g model.
