""One word captures this collaboration for me: synergy. The rider and the bike moving as one.""
""The inspiration comes after the ride. That cycling high is everything.""
""Dreams, connection, ch""
Specialized provided blank S-Works Tarmac SL8 frames to three international artists and asked them to interpret a "One Bike to Rule Them All" concept. Each artist drew from personal cycling experiences and used color, speed, rhythm, and movement as inspiration. Yoon Hyup's design evokes dawn and dusk rides with streetlights forming a blurred runway that suggests flow and unity between rider and bike. Parra referenced 1990s cycling culture with vibrant color blasts, typography, and curvy hand-drawn elements representing the "cycling high." Lucas Beaufort applied his GusGus character to express revelation, unity, community, and connection opened by cycling.
