His OpenAI involvement was inconsistent, with an initial two-year tenure after co-founding in 2015, followed by a rejoin in 2023 and an exit in early 2024. After leaving, he founded Eureka Labs in July 2024, centered on AI education and advocacy, including an undergraduate course called LLM101n covering language modeling, machine learning, tokenization, optimization, and deployment.
