London AI recruitment startup Jack & Jill raises $20 Million seed round
"Six months after launching, London-based AI recruitment startup Jack & Jill has raised $20 million in seed funding to reinvent how people find jobs and companies hire talent. The round was led by Creandum, the European venture firm behind Spotify and Klarna, with participation from Dig Ventures, Entrepreneur First, Ada Ventures, Firedrop, Repeat.vc, Episode1, Playfair, and more than 75 angel investors - including former F1 world champion Nico Rosberg and backers from Lovable, Anthropic, and ElevenLabs."
"Founded in early 2025 by Matthew Wilson (CEO) and Saaras Mehan (CTO), Jack & Jill was born out of the founders' frustration with the inefficiency and bias of traditional recruitment. "Imagine a world where every person is in their perfect job and every company has the right people," said Wilson. "We're a long way from that today. Our mission is to fix recruitment so that everyone gets world-class support - whether hiring or finding a job.""
Jack & Jill raised $20 million in seed funding to transform recruitment by using autonomous AI agents for personalized hiring matches. The round was led by Creandum with participation from multiple venture firms and over 75 angel investors, including high-profile backers. The funding will support product development, AI infrastructure, and global expansion, prioritizing entry into the US market beginning in San Francisco’s Bay Area while maintaining operations in London and Europe. Founded in early 2025 by Matthew Wilson and Saaras Mehan, the startup replaces human recruiters with conversational AI agents that learn candidate skills and preferences to scale personalized matches.
