Apple is suing a former senior employee, alleging he stole trade secrets about the $3,500 Vision Pro before taking a job at Snap
Briefly

Apple has filed a lawsuit against former senior product design engineer Di Liu for theft of trade secrets related to the Vision Pro headset. Liu allegedly stole thousands of files while preparing to join Snap Inc. The suit claims Liu did not disclose his employment negotiations with Snap when resigning. During the two weeks between accepting the position and resigning, Liu reportedly copied a large volume of proprietary information from Apple, breaching confidentiality agreements and utilizing his Apple-issued work laptop.
During his final days at Apple, Di Liu allegedly accessed and copied a massive volume of confidential documents to his personal cloud storage, including design schematics and supply-chain data.
The lawsuit states that Liu negotiated a position with Snap Inc. and received an employment offer on October 18, prior to officially resigning from Apple.
