Seventeen local authorities received EUR 143 million in subsidies, totaling EUR 163 million in investment. Zagreb's public transport company ZET launched a preliminary consultation to buy 70 electric buses in spring 2025 after introducing its first electric bus, an Iveco Bus Crossway Le City Elec. Seven contracts under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan cover 68 electric buses valued at EUR 53.3 million, including EUR 41.9 million in subsidies. All participating authorities received funding for charging infrastructure. Vehicles will have a minimum 300-kilometre range with deliveries scheduled throughout 2025, initially arriving in Osijek, Jastrebarsko, Zadar and Pula.
