"AC Milan Primavera earned a big three points this afternoon, with a win against Frosinone away from home, thanks to two second-half goals. It has been an up-and-down season for Milan's Primavera side, and last week was a perfect showing of that. Giovanni Renna was left frustrated after a 3-3 draw with Fiorentina, especially with his side taking the lead three times."
"The first 45 minutes were rather poor, it must be said. Despite the poor quality of their opposition, they failed to create any chances of note. Whilst the same could be said for the hosts, it certainly brought a need to improve in the second half. They did, too, with their intent clear within the first 10-15 minutes. However, Renna would have to wait until the 70th minute for his side to get ahead."
"After a few half-chances, there was no doubt in place when Simone Lontani was released into space. One-on-one with the goalkeeper, he left nothing to chance and got the Rossoneri's first of the afternoon. Then, just less than 15 minutes later, substitute Alex Castiello got his goal for the afternoon, after a nice bit of work from Ossola. A fantastic goal, worthy of a 2-0 win."
AC Milan Primavera earned a 2-0 away victory over Frosinone courtesy of two second-half goals. The Primavera season has been inconsistent, with a recent 3-3 draw against Fiorentina where the team led three times but could not win. The first half against Frosinone produced few chances from either side and required improvement. Milan increased intent early in the second half and broke the deadlock in the 70th minute when Simone Lontani was released one-on-one and finished calmly. Substitute Alex Castiello doubled the lead after skillful work from Ossola, and a late sending-off for Hodzic added post-match controversy.
