Teachers and educators asked for more time to wrap up class assignments and get more students to enter the NPR Student Podcast Challenge. The deadline is now extended to May 31, allowing more time for podcasts to shine.
The contest is open to students from 4th to 12th grade, requiring podcasts to be between 3 and 8 minutes long. Winners will have their podcasts featured on NPR programs and receive certificates and trophies.
