Once-Hidden Hydrogen Gas Deposits Could Be a Boon for Clean Energy
Briefly

Truche and colleagues discovered abundant natural hydrogen in Albania, providing a cleaner energy alternative to black or blue hydrogen due to significantly lower carbon emissions in its production process.
The greenhouse gas intensity of natural hydrogen was estimated at 0.4 kg CO2eq/kg, a vast difference from the 22-26 kg CO2e/kg of black hydrogen or the 10-14 kg CO2e/kg of blue hydrogen.
