Atlanta secured a series win with a 4-1 victory Saturday and came within one out of their first no-hitter since 1994. The Braves improved to 24-12 on the season and enter Sunday two games back of the Philadelphia Phillies.
Right-hander Luis Severino signed with the Mets during the offseason in hopes of revitalizing his career after an injury plagued end to his tenure with the Yankees. Severino has posted a 2.93 ERA and a 3.38 FIP over his first seven starts with the Mets.
