A Hackney man is among three charged with helping Hong Kong spies under national security offences.
Chung Biu Yuen, Chi Leung Wai, and Matthew Trickett will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court after an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
The charges do not relate to a recent counterterrorism probe linked to Russia, and there is no belief in a wider threat to the public.
Limited details have been shared as the investigation pertains to offences under the National Security Act 2023.
