Thousands of pounds of food are made over the three-day weekend, ranging from simple ingredients to filet mignon. Approximately 90,000 pounds of food were left over, which equates to roughly 75,000 meals.
Food Rescue US volunteers pick up viable remaining food and deliver surplus to local agencies, preventing it from going to landfills. The organization has worked with Hard Rock Stadium for years.
