A woman struck and dragged by an autonomous Cruise vehicle was reportedly awarded $8-12 million in a settlement by General Motors after a night incident in October.
After the incident, Cruise faced investigations, had its operating permit suspended, recalled vehicles, saw executive reshuffling, and commissioned an independent report on the handling of the case.
