This immediately tells you the sample they used for this poll is horribly skewed. Why? Romance is always the top-selling genre in the US, read mainly by women.
There's literary fiction and 'other fiction' (which means what? we don't know). When readers respond to this poll, where are they putting someone like Bonnie Garmus? I have no idea. Are they possibly thinking Colleen Hoover is literary? Maybe.
