Braves at Mariners game thread
Briefly

The Braves will face the rookie Emerson Hancock for the first time in what looks to be a matchup in their favor. Hancock struggles with giving up hard contact and a high barrel percentage (bottom 14.0 and 28.0 percent of MLB pitchers, respectively). As most of us know, hitting the ball hard and barreling the ball is where the Braves' offense thrives.
Sale went seven innings while only giving up two hits (one was a HR), one earned run, and six strikeouts to only one walk in his last outing.
The last two pitching matchups were arguably close to evenly matched. This matchup looks to be largely in the Braves' favor on paper. With the Phillies creeping up the standings, The Braves could really use a win today.
