Private American Moon Mission Launching Monday
NASA will be sending a lunar lander to the Moon's surface for the first time since 1972, but this time it will be piggybacking on a commercial mission.
The lunar lander, called Peregrine, is built by private space company Astrobotic and is part of NASA's Commercial Lunar Payload Services program. [ more ]
