
Maire Neary, a Sligo native and senior executive at Irish technology unicorn Flipdish, received runner-up recognition in the Emerging Executive category at the IMAGE Media PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards in Dublin. She is Vice President of People and Legal at Flipdish, an Irish-founded company that supports hospitality businesses with AI ordering, point of sale, loyalty, and marketing. A qualified solicitor, she studied at the University of Limerick and trained as a corporate and mergers and acquisitions lawyer with Arthur Cox before moving into technology to build Flipdish’s legal function. She later led People and HR and joined the executive team, becoming the most senior woman in the company with 275 staff globally. She also emphasized women’s leadership in shaping AI’s future.
