Creating websites without frameworks or complex tools can be liberating, often offering freedom from the headaches of dependencies and broken builds. For instance, after spending over a year working on the Frostapalooza website using just raw HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I found it to be an extraordinary and enjoyable experience.
While there are some ergonomic inefficiencies involved in raw-dogging websites, the simplicity and ease of iterating designs make up for it. Debugging a broken build often takes longer than the time spent on copying and pasting HTML in this simpler method.
