House Oversight Democrats released emails in which Jeffrey Epstein said Donald Trump had spent hours at Epstein's house with a person identified by Democrats as a sex-trafficking victim. Epstein wrote that Trump 'has never once been mentioned' and told Michael Wolff, 'Of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop.' The White House did not immediately comment. Trump denied knowledge of Epstein's alleged crimes and said he ended their relationship years earlier. Epstein died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting federal trial. Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted and is serving a 20-year sentence.
